GlenAllachie Sinteis Series Part I 2014 Chinquapin & PX Cask Matured Single Malt Scotch Whisky 57,8% 700ml

‘Sinteis’ (pronounced sin-teesh) meaning ‘synthesis’ in Scottish Gaelic, embodies our cask creativity as we merge two bold yet complementary wood types to concoct unparalleled expressions.

Uniting rich single malt matured in first-fill Pedro Ximénez Sherry puncheons and Chinquapin, a native American oak from the Ozarks in Missouri, has created a medley of dark fruit, baking spices and chocolate tones.

We proudly present this Sinteis Series bottling at a cask strength of 57.8% ABV, natural colour and non-chill filtered, allowing the unique spirit to speak for itself.

NOSE: Liquorice, butterscotch and grilled honeycomb, with candied orchard fruits, cocoa and treacle tart.

TASTE: Ginger, butterscotch and candied lemon slices, followed by fig jam, blackberries and molasses, with cinnamon spice and rich cocoa on the finish.
